Although full-power TV stations across the rest of the country will continue to broadcast in analog until February 2009, five local television stations in Wilmington – including WECT (NBC), WSFX-TV (FOX), WWAY (ABC), WILM-LP (CBS), and W51CW (Trinity Broadcasting) – will switch from analog to digital at noon on September 8th, 2008.

What does DTV mean for people who use antennas or rabbit ears?
If you receive your broadcast signal from rabbit ears or an antenna, you will no longer receive programming unless your TV is digital-ready (check your TV owner’s manual for information on your TV being “digital-ready”).
